The role: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Operations, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive digital analytics program for Meridian’s public website.

Working in close collaboration with the enterprise analytics, public website, digital banking, contact centre, marketing and IT teams the Digital Analytics Manager demonstrates the capability to help to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound strategic decisions. The incumbent possesses a combination of digital business focus and advanced analytical, problem solving and strategic capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making.

This is a key role in a growing team that is helping advance our strategic priorities.


Product Analytics, Insights & Reporting

  • Analyze tracking data to evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, website/app changes, and digital initiatives, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Set up and run A/B tests as well as advise other team members on best practices for A/B testing.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using GA4’s reporting tools, Data Studio/Looker Studio, Amplitude, or other BI platforms.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders across the business in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Monitor and interpret user journeys, funnel performance, and conversion data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Enable highquality behavioral tracking, including defining events, and ensuring accurate data collection across web and app experiences.
  • Support Marketing to help run attribution models (e.g., multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling) to evaluate channel performance and inform investment decisions

Stakeholder Management

  • Apply an understanding of strategic business levers, P&L drivers, and value creation when conducting analysis and making recommendations.

  • Define and measure success metrics that assess the business impact of digital initiatives, including growth, efficiency, and Member outcomes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Optimize data pipelines across BigQuery, GA4 and Amplitude to help maintain reliable data flows for analytics and attribution.
  • Work closely with digital banking, Marketing, UX, product, and dev teams to ensure data tracking aligns with business goals and marketing strategies.
  • Provide training and support to team members on best practices, data interpretation, and self-serve analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest tracking software features, industry trends, and digital analytics methodologies.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Ability to communicate data and insights effectively across the organization
    • Possess a strong attention to detail; be concise without comprising the facts
    • Well-organized with the goal of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience in conducting analysis and working with diverse data sets, both structured and unstructured.
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking, with natural curiosity

    Market and Competitor Intelligence

    • Possess and build a knowledge base of competitor information and intelligence for use in internal decision making
    • Review and provide insight into trends in digital financial services

        Salary Range: $68,800.00 to $103,200.00 CAD
        Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.

        Office Location:  Toronto Corporate Office with the ability to travel to our St. Catharines office as needed. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
