Physician Assistant

Blue Ridge Digestive

Location: Morganton, NC  

Practice Open:  Monday – Thursday 8:00am- 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

Morganton is nature’s playground, ideal for camping, hiking, fishing, mountain biking and kayaking. Within one hour of Asheville, Charlotte, Hickory, Blowing Rock and Boone.

Job Description 

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Digestive Health department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Licensure Requirements  

  • Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

Professional Experience Requirements:

  • FNP experience preferred, will consider new grads

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Demonstrated clinical competency.
  • Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective interaction and care of patients
  • Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
