Job description

The Patient Care Assistant assists the unit in patient care duties such as cleaning/bathing patients, positioning, re-positioning and transporting patients, stocking shelves, cleaning equipment and assisting with dietary tasks. All work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).


Education:
-A high school diploma or GED
-Certified Nursing Assistant training preferred.

Experience:
Previous receptionist / hospital unit secretarial experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:
CNA Certification preferred
Current BLS certification required
