About Us:

We are a fast-paced diesel repair company specializing in both field service and in-shop repairs. Our team works on a wide range of equipment including heavy construction machinery, Class 8 trucks (18-wheelers), trailers, and light-duty automotive vehicles. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, quick turnaround times, and strong customer relationships.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Service Advisor to help our service operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily shop and field activities, managing technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high standards of customer service and repair quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate daily operations for both shop and field service teams.
  • Dispatch field technicians and prioritize work orders based on urgency and workload.
  • Communicate with customers regarding diagnostics, estimates, timelines and repair updates.
  • Oversee job scheduling, workflow efficiency and technician productivity.
  • Review and approve repair orders, parts usage and labor times.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor diesel/heavy equipment environment
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment, semi-trucks, trailers and basic automotive repair.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with service management software and estimating systems
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)

Novak Diesel Service offers maintenance and repair services for the oilfield, industrial, construction, marine, and agricultural industries. We are equipped to do in-house or on-site service repairs, 24 hours a day. We also offer commercial pressure washing for fleets and routine services. Novak Diesel Service has a 6-bay shop located in Edna, TX and a fleet of 13 fully-stocked service trucks allowing us to provide services for the state of Texas, Louisiana and every other state in the U.S. We now can accommodate bigger jobs with our newly added additional shop with a 10 ton walking crane. We can accommodate more big jobs along with our air lift system we currently have to take care of our customers
Novak Diesel Service was established in 2007 with one employee and one field service truck. The main goal was to provide great customer service at a reasonable cost for our customers. Since then, the field service fleet has grown to 13 fully stocked service trucks, a 6-bay shop on 7+ acres and 20 employees. Novak Diesel Service is equipped to do in-house service repairs or on-site service repairs, and we still offer that great customer service at reasonable prices.
