The Mechanic Trainee is an entry level position responsible for assisting more experienced technicians on jobs involving servicing and repair of equipment. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Performs basic safe machine operation & inspection
- Performs the following tasks on basic components in work area including engine, hydraulic, transmission, and electrical components: remove and install, disassemble and reassemble, perform minor adjustments
- Possesses the ability to locate lubrication requirements and service machines in work area
- Works as helper in field service with experienced technician as required
- Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures
- Performs shop, yard, and job site clean-up as required
- Operates wash rack equipment and properly cleans equipment as required
