As a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trucks and equipment, helping keep our customers' fleets safe, reliable, and on the road. What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines
  • Repair transmissions, clutches, and drivelines
  • Troubleshoot electrical and multiplex systems
  • Repair air brake, steering, and suspension systems
  • Diagnose and repair DPF, DEF, SCR, DOC, and EGR systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
  • Repair wheel ends, hubs, bearings, seals, and brakes
  • Use OEM diagnostic software and scan tools
  • Work safely while maintaining a clean work area
  • Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations

What We're Looking For

  • Heavy-duty diesel repair experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working on commercial trucks
  • Familiarity with air brake and suspension systems
  • Experience using diagnostic software and scan tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASE Certifications
  • State of Michigan Certifications
  • CDL (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, International, Volvo, or Mack engines
  • Allison or Eaton transmission experience
  • DOT Inspection Certification
  • Welding or fabrication experience
