Job description

DIESEL MECHANIC & SHOP MANAGER

We are a family-owned company based in Genoa, Ohio (112 years strong) and are looking to add 1–2 certified diesel mechanics & 1 shop Manager to our team.


Role

Maximize uptime. Keep production moving.


Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
  • Perform engine work, PM services, electrical diagnostics, and brakes
  • Use diagnostic tools/software to solve issues efficiently
  • Prioritize production equipment and respond quickly to breakdowns
  • Maintain clean records and organized workspace


What We Expect

  • Strong diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and emissions knowledge
  • Ability to perform DOT inspections
  • Experience with Mack engines preferred
  • Trailer, hydraulic, or welding experience a plus
  • Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, team-oriented
  • Physically capable (50+ lbs, on feet daily)


Standard
