Admore®, Inc. has been in business for over 79 years. We are the largest manufacturer of premium presentation folders and related items, which are sold through qualified distributors and resellers across the country. We are a specialty, trade-only printer which offers offset printing, digital printing, foil stamping and embossing, UV coating, plastic film lamination, die-cutting, folding and gluing, as well as hand assembly and shipping all occurring at one location in Macomb, Michigan.

Heidelberg Cylinder Paper Die Cutter Press Operator will produce a full range of configurations per specifications from various paper stocks following company quality standards and procedures to ensure accuracy.
Expected hours: 40 - 50 hours per week

Requirements
Admore is searching for a reliable, dependable, punctual, and flexible individual to perform our full-time, on-site role.
Must be able to read a Standard Ruler
Have Good Math Skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals)
Lift/Move up to 50 pounds
Must be Highly-Organized
Must be able to physically handle, sort, stack, and organize merchandise, inventory, and paper stock for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to be on Your Feet All Day
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Write simple correspondence
Effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees in the organization.
A valid drivers license is required to operate hoisting equipment
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.
  • Set-up and operate the legacy flatbed Heidelberg Cylinder Die Cut Press
  • Loads flat sheets of paper stock into machine
  • Locks the wooden-mounted steel-rule dies into the chase
  • Adjusts machine depth and pressure for cutting and scoring
  • Ensures proper registration for quality control
  • Removes waste paper stock from cut and trimmed sheets
  • Routinely maintains mechanical equipment employee is responsible for

Compensation
This is a full-time, hourly union position with a pay range of $19.25 - $20.45 per hour. Determined and based upon individual experience and qualifications.
  • Pay checks are issued weekly with direct deposit available
  • Overtime is paid after 8 hours
  • 9 paid holidays observed throughout the year
  • PTO available after 90 days (prorated for new hire based on start date)
  • Union representation after 90 days
