Summary: The Facilities Construction Coordinator oversees facilities construction and maintenance projects from planning through closeout. This role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while serving as a key liaison among contractors, vendors, engineering, project management, and operations. The Coordinator supports project execution in compliance with approved scopes of work, company standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee facilities construction and maintenance projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Identify project risks, review scopes and work orders, and verify accuracy and compliance before execution.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineering, and operations to align labor, materials, and project needs.
  • Monitor field progress and inspect job sites to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support cost control by tracking project expenses, reviewing invoices, and assisting with estimating and unit pricing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily activity reports, permits, inspections, hazards, and system records.
  • Prepare bid packages, participate in bid walks, and support procurement of materials and services.
  • Provide project status updates and coordinate turnover activities to support a smooth handoff to operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities construction, facility management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, ISOs, and other technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas facility process flow and proficiency with computer systems and project-related software.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of lease operator, field operations, or facilities construction experience.
  • Experience supporting bid development, contractor coordination, and field execution of capital or maintenance projects.
  • Familiarity with project tracking, inspection, or safety systems such as SiteView or Sphera.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, material transfers, and project closeout documentation.
