What you will be doing:

  • Set up and operate polishing machines
  • Read travelers and work instructions
  • Polish ceramic and advanced materials
  • Measure thickness and dimensions
  • Monitor material removal rates
  • Inspect parts during processing
  • Prepare and mix diamond slurries
  • Condition polishing plates
  • Load and unload fixtures
  • Complete production documentation
  • Maintain equipment
  • Follow quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean work area (5S)
  • Follow all safety requirements
  • Report equipment issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement

What you will bring along:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read work instructions
  • Use precision measuring tools
  • Basic math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Lapping, polishing, or machining experience
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • SpeedFam or similar equipment experience
  • Ceramic or advanced materials manufacturing
  • SPC knowledge
  • Precision measurement experience
