Meredith College seeks qualified applicants for the position of Dietetics Educator and Dietetic Internship Program Director. This position is a full-time, eleven-month, faculty appointment.
Duties:
Teaching responsibilities include on-campus undergraduate and graduate courses in Food and Nutrition. Expertise to teach a variety of food and nutrition courses at Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Serve as Program Director for ACEND accredited Dietetic Internship program and oversee supervised experiential learning. Active involvement within the department; student advising; DI program documentation and administration; scholarship and service to the profession expected.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences, Dietetics, or Public Health.
- RD credential with at least five years of professional experience required.
- The successful candidate will provide evidence of initiative, maturity, professionalism, attention to detail, excellent organizational ability, time management and interpersonal skills, which include high-quality oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated or potential excellence in undergraduate & graduate teaching.
