Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Agent

Job Location: Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina

As a Warehouse Agent you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and Pallet Jack to load, unload and move freight within the warehouse.
  • Efficiently work with the existing Warehouse Management Data base system (i.e. MGMS, FSI, CW1, LMMS or other similar programs)
  • Knowledge of and ability to handle dangerous goods
  • Knowledge of and ability to handle life science shipments
  • Determine proper space requirement for Freight staging.
  • Using and navigating the FSI3 system
  • Linking an FSI Station inventory/on hand/warehouse receipt to a HAWB

Skills / Requirements:

  • Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work
  • Effectively producing written communications which are clear, fluent, concise and readily understood by recipients
  • Effectively expressing ideas and thoughts verbally in individual or group situations to bring about understanding
  • Creating or responding promptly to emails, writing in a concise professional manner, ensuring correct spelling and grammar
  • Cooperates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals, shares information and supports others
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with people at all levels, put others at ease; promote harmony and consensus through diplomatic handling of disagreements or conflicts
  • Results driven and attention to details
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • HS diploma or GED required and 1 - 3 years' experience

GxP Thermonet Responsibilities:

  • Process daily Thermonet operations
  • Use Good Documentation Practices in daily operations
  • Prepares shipment for delivery
  • Ensures customer requirements are met in full compliance with Thermonet and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guidelines
  • Completes pre and post shipment tasks
  • Handles goods within the required temperature range as per documentation/cSOP(Customer Standard Operating Procedures), including correct storage
  • Performs pre-conditioning, build-up, and break-down of active ULDs (e.g., Envirotainer, CSafe, etc.) and passive temperature controlled packaging (e.g., pallet shippers, Silverpods, Va-Q-tainer, etc.) Performs pre-conditioning of Active units:
  • Takes care of icing/re-icing of Envirotainers if required
  • Check batteries
  • Checks temperature of active ULDs (Unit Load Device)
  • Placed and scans SSTs (Smart Sensor Technology)
  • Performs all duties specified in cSOPs
  • Knowledge of Air Freight Operations (Export or Import where applicable) preferred
  • Trained and certified for Thermonet requirements
  • Good administrations skills

Pay Range: $19.39 - $25.85/hr. (Based on Experience)
