Job Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist I is responsible for receiving and shipping, issuing orders, and pulling and distributing parts for jobs, sales orders and work orders, cycle counting, organization and labeling of warehouse area.

Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  1. Manage ERP system as it relates to receiving against purchase orders and inventory control
  2. Assists in generating outbound shipments with UPS, DHL and DLS
  3. Conducts daily cycle counts and makes adjustments in ERP system once confirmed by supervisor
  4. Maintain environmental report and MTR distribution
  5. Interacts with customer for all pick-up orders by contractors and ensures paperwork is signed and product picked up matches order
  6. Loads or coordinates with forklift driver to load product for customer
  7. Cross-Trained to back up the forklift driver and warehouse supervisor.
  8. Maintain 5S standard in work environment
  9. Promote a culture of proactive safety

Experience, Education, & License Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience or working in production
  • Forklift experience, preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Previous experience in a customer service role and working with a diverse team
