Job description

Open Systems Technologies Corporation is looking for a DevOps Engineer  to join our high performing cyber team in support of a large SOC enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies. Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools. Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider. Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debugs cluster-based computing architectures. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.

Required Skills:

  • Clearance: Top Secret with the ability to sit for the CI Poly
  • Requires BS or BA degree
  • 5 year overall experience in the areas of DevOps tasking
  • Experience with Linux based environment administration (R)
  • Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity. (R)
  • Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity. (R)

Preferred Skills:

        Having the following tools experience and/or certifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
  • Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks (P)
  • Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python (P)
