The DevOps Architect is responsible for defining and implementing the organization's DevOps strategy, cloud architecture, automation frameworks, CI/CD platforms, infrastructure-as-code standards, and operational excellence initiatives. This role serves as the technical authority for deployment automation, cloud-native architecture, platform reliability, observability, security, and engineering productivity.
The DevOps Architect partners with Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, QA, Product Management, and Operations teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient technology platforms that accelerate software delivery while maintaining operational stability and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps Strategy & Architecture
  • Define and execute enterprise DevOps and platform engineering strategies.
  • Design end-to-end CI/CD architectures supporting multiple applications and environments.
  • Establish DevOps standards, patterns, frameworks, and best practices across teams.
  • Lead modernization initiatives including cloud transformation, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Platform Engineering.
Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture
  • Architect scalable cloud solutions across Azure cloud environments.
  • Design high-availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region deployment strategies.
