We are looking for DevOps Engineer for our client in Norfolk, VA

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Norfolk, VA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $53.00hr - $58.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
  • Hands-on expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Extensive experience with GitHub Actions for build, test, and deployment automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Harness for continuous delivery and deployment orchestration.
  • Experience with source control management and Git workflows.
  • Understanding of release management, deployment strategies, and environment management.
  • Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • 5+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering experience.
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Harness.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.
  • Build and maintain automated deployment, monitoring, and rollback strategies.
  • Manage code repositories, branching strategies, and release workflows.
  • Optimize deployment pipelines for performance, reliability, and security.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.
