Job description

Job Summary:
As our organization continues to grow and evolve, it is imperative that our Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment keeps pace with these changes. The current IAM strategy has served us well, but it is now time to take it to the next level to ensure that we remain secure, efficient, and adaptable to future needs.
The Custom DevOps Manager will help change the Existing Strategy by transforming the existing IAM space into a DevOps operation:
  • Enhanced Security: With the increasing number of cyber threats, it is crucial to enhance our IAM security measures. This includes implementing advanced authentication methods, continuous monitoring, and real-time threat detection to protect our sensitive data and systems.
  • Scalability: As our organization expands, our IAM environment must be able to scale accordingly. This involves adopting solutions that can handle a larger number of users, devices, and applications without compromising performance or security.
  • User Experience: Improving the user experience is essential for ensuring that our employees can access the resources they need quickly and efficiently. This includes streamlining the authentication process, reducing login times, and providing seamless access to applications and data.
  • Compliance: Adhering to industry regulations and standards is a top priority. Updating our IAM strategy will help us stay compliant with the latest requirements and avoid potential legal and financial repercussions.
  • Innovation: Embracing new technologies and methodologies will enable us to stay ahead of the curve. This includes exploring artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to enhance our IAM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :
  • DevOps Strategy and Implementation: Develop and implement DevOps strategies in alignment with business objectives. Oversee the integration of
  • DevOps methodologies across various projects and teams.
  • Azure DevOps Management: Manage, configure, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and services. Ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery pipelines for software projects.
  • Custom Programming: Utilize custom programming skills to build, maintain, and enhance tools and scripts that support DevOps processes. Implement automation and orchestration solutions tailored to project needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and identify areas for improvement. Optimize infrastructure for reliability, availability, and scalability.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all DevOps practices and solutions adhere to security and compliance standards. Implement security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications :
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Azure DevOps: Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, repository management, and service configuration.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in custom programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar. Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
  • CI/CD: Strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools.
  • Cloud Services: In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools
  • Security: Understanding of security best practices in the context of DevOps and cloud computing.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • This position requires access to information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Advanced certifications in Azure or DevOps practices.
