Job Description Position: Business Analyst Resume Due Date: Friday Aug 29th (5:00PM EST) Number of Vacancies: 2 Level: MP3, $50 - $70/hr INC Duration: 12 Months Hours of work: 35 Location: 889 Brock Road or 700 University Avenue (will relocate to Oshawa) (Hybrid - 2 days remote) Job Overview Participate in all phases of the project life cycle including Initiation, Planning, Definition, Execution and Closeout. Contribute to the implementation of systems ranging from single stand-alone applications to large, complex systems with extensive integrations requiring comprehensive organizational change management. Support all stages of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements definition, solution architecture & design, software development, system integration, testing and quality assurance.

Support projects through rapid development methodologies such as Agile, Iterative, etc. Foster relationships between business unit and IT (Information Technology) groups through interaction with line of business leaders, power users, understanding the true business needs, priorities and strategies. Participate in technology and business risk analysis, with an effort to identify implications, root-cause and creative solutions.

Support and facilitate the development of business cases that will provide funding release through various projects gates. Apply industry best practices to help the project team maintain a focus on continuous improvement, including knowledge of project management developments and practices, trends in IT technology and services, systems management disciplines and related industry best practices that could add value to the business. Develop project schedules for project deliverables.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Requires a minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst and experience as an SAP business analyst in a similar industry is preferred Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, SAP) is preferred Agile Certification (e.g

CSM, CPO, etc.) is preferred Experience working with a Product-Oriented Delivery Model Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to provide solutions and guidance to the project team and line of business Proficient in documentation and validation of business requirements from stakeholders Thorough understanding of the entire SDLC and with experience working on complex IT projects from inception to completion (i.e. Software, Application, Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Data Migration, System Migration, Security, etc.) Experience contributing to projects through rapid development methodologies such as Agile, Iterative, etc. Experience in planning and testing software solutions Experience working with Microsoft suite of products (MS Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft DevOps for requirements and work management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
