Job description

From day one, a JMS intern works on real projects: the water and wastewater equipment our team designs and builds for communities across the country. It's hands-on work with a senior mentor, and you see what you build leave the floor.
We're a third-generation, family-owned company in Charlotte, doing essential work since 1962. The equipment we make cleans the water that towns and cities depend on, so the work is steady and it matters.
What you'll do: Work alongside the engineers, fabricators, and operators who design and build our equipment. You'll take on real assignments, learn the product and the customers, and get a clear look at how a project moves from a drawing to a finished machine.
Tracks: We host interns across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations. Tell us where your interest is and we'll point you toward the work that fits.
Where it can lead: lot of our full-time team started as interns or moved up from somewhere else in the building. Strong performers are considered for a full-time offer when the program wraps.
Who we're looking for: Students in engineering or the trades who want to build things that matter and like hands-on work. If that's you, get on our radar.
How this works: This is a rolling internship pool, not tied to a single start date. Submit your application, tell us the kind of role you're looking for and why JMS interests you, and we'll review it as intern openings come up.
