Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of project-related tasks and ensure their completion.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
• Engage in client interactions as part of the role.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Recent experience with Cloudera and Hadoop is required, with a strong background in Unix and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Spark, Python, and Pyspark.
• 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, including 2 years in data engineering.
• Experience with Hive and Impala and strong understanding of Java or Python.
• 5 years of experience in Hadoop; experience with Cloudera is a plus.
Preferred:
• Strong background in SQL.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and self-motivation with minimal direction needed.
