About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in .NET Core, Python, AWS, and SQL Server to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and support enterprise applications across cloud and on-premises environments while collaborating with product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop and maintain applications using .NET Core, Python, AWS, and SQL Server.
  • Design and support scalable backend services and APIs.
  • Build and enhance cloud-based and on-premises solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following engineering best practices.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. }
  • Utilize AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

The annual salary for this position will be between $120,000 to $141,500 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
