Many organizations see these roles as overlapping or complementary, making such a transition feasible with relevant experience.

What does a cloud DevOps engineer do?

A cloud DevOps engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines to support software development and deployment. They work with tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and automate processes using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. Their role ensures reliable, scalable, and efficient cloud-based systems.

Which is better cloud engineer or DevOps engineer?

A Cloud Engineer focuses on designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure, while a DevOps Engineer integrates development and operations to automate deployment, improve collaboration, and ensure continuous delivery.
