Job Title : Azure DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Boston, MA (3/4 days a week Hybrid onsite)

Duration : Long term contract

Contract: W2 / C2C

 

Job Description:

Responsibilities

      •     Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines with Azure DevOps, Harness, and Kubernetes for seamless software deployment and scalability.

      •     Build and optimize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) patterns using Terraform and Terragrunt for Azure resource provisioning across multitenant and multi-environment setups.

      •     Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, including deployment templates, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

      •     Ensure effective infrastructure compliance, governance, and security including RBAC, Azure Policy, cross-tenant automation, and secrets management.

      •     Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams for feature flag deployments, configuration management, and agile release processes.

      •     Monitor, diagnose, and resolve deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure issues to guarantee system reliability and high availability.

      •     Create and maintain documentation of processes, architectures, and operational runbooks for all cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

      •     5+ years’ practical experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer or related IT position.

      •     Strong hands-on expertise in Azure resource management, Terraform (including module creation), and Terragrunt for scalable and secure deployments.

      •     Advanced experience with Azure DevOps, Harness, and continuous integration/deployment practices.

      •     In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

      •     Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python.

      •     Strong understanding of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.

      •     Experience in managing configuration, monitoring, networking, and security in a cloud environment.

      •     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience); relevant Azure or DevOps certifications are a plus.
