Description:
  • Rapid Diagnostics is part of Client’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
  • This role is within the ARDx Cloud and Connectivity group, working on connected and data solutions.
What you'll do: 
  • Agile Execution: Deliver robust quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detail design documents, well commented) to the planned schedule
  • Architectural Contributions: Own design and architecture on individual software components and/or subsystems
  • Documentation: Summarizes and presents details of designs in collaborative design reviews
  • Security and Compliance: Follows all Client software coding standards and processes.
Qualifications 
  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
Must have at least 2, prefer 3:
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful, APIs, and Event-Driven Architectures
  • Proficiency in python 3.8
  • Hands on experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Hands on experience with both relational and non-relationship databases
  • Experience with Development environment: Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, Git.
  • Good understanding of Authentication\Authorization and OAuth 2.0\Open ID Connect standards.
  • Top 3 required skills: Python 3.8, Azure Cloud services (e.g., Blob Storage, AKS), SQL
  • Top 3 preferred skills: React (latest version), Docker & Kubernetes, Full-stack development experience (at least 2 of 3: microservices, DB, UI)
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science (minimum), 3+ years experience
  • Medical/pharma experience: Not required (nice to have)
  • Typical day: Agile environment; daily stand-ups; sprint planning every 2 weeks
  • Regular interactions: Team members, SMEs during onboarding
  • Personality traits: Collaborative, adaptable, proactive in Agile setting
  • Data Engineering and Analytics is preferred
