Job description

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Paraprofessional to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Are you passionate about helping all students reach their potential? Do you love working in a bright, active, positive environment? Are you interested in joining an organization devoted to helping all children succeed? If so, we want to hear from you!

Special Education Paraprofessional Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience working with K-12 children

Special Education Paraprofessional Responsibilities:

  • Execute support in servicing the Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each of the students in your care
  • Communicate with other staff and family members about each student's progress and struggles
  • Use individualized reinforcement techniques to keep each student on the path toward greatness
  • Support the classroom teacher in the areas of behavior reinforcement and academics
  • Create a safe, productive classroom environment
