Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is a key member of the Institutional Marketing team, responsible for driving enrollment growth across Chamberlain University's campus and online programs. This role develops and executes integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies that attract, engage, and convert prospective students throughout the enrollment journey. 

The Marketing Manager leads both short- and long-term marketing initiatives, partnering across enrollment, campus operations, national accounts, and legal/compliance to deliver impactful campaigns, strengthen brand awareness, and support institutional objectives. Responsibilities include marketing planning, campaign execution, brand and naming stewardship, regulatory-aware content review, targeted communications, vendor and agency management, and ensuring a consistent, compliant, and compelling market presence across all channels. 

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for assigned campuses and online programs, supporting enrollment growth, and brand presence across markets. 
  • Translate campus and online program goals, enrollment targets, and market dynamics into integrated marketing plans across channels and lifecycle stages. 
  • Define market-specific strategies based on demand, competition, local insights, and program mix, including how competitive programs name and disclose comparable offerings. 
  • Develop and brief campaigns, content, and creative assets aligned to campus priorities and audience needs. 
  • Establish KPIs, lead and enrollment targets, and performance benchmarks in partnership with enrollment and campus operations, and serve as the named marketing point of contact in the monthly stakeholder alignment cadence. 
  • Monitor, analyze, and continuously optimize campaigns and channel performance across paid and owned media. 
  • Partner on paid media strategy and budget allocation across channels (paid search, paid social, programmatic display), in collaboration with media/agency partners to manage spend efficiency, pacing, and ROI against enrollment goals. 
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and on-brand messaging across all marketing touchpoints 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Complies with all policies and standards. 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field required and Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5-7years marketing experience required.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns (digital, CRM, field/local marketing, and content). 
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing fundamentals, including lead generation and funnel optimization. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present updates, insights, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. 
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders across teams. 
  • Experience in higher education strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,696.34 and $127,957.05. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
