The ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands construction, communicates clearly, uses technology well, and can manage resources, timelines, and jobsite details with confidence.

Key Responsibilities Manage multiple residential remodeling projects from start to finish

  • Supervise and support carpenters, subcontractors, and field teams
  • Coordinate communication between clients, the office, vendors, subcontractors, and job sites
  • Create, maintain, and update project schedules to keep work on track
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure projects meet Rust Construction standards
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and update cost-to-complete estimates
  • Write progress reports, maintain job logs, and document project updates
  • Review construction drawings, project scopes, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate inspections, subcontractor schedules, materials, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Use technology regularly, including MS Office, email, CompanyCam, laptops, iPads, texting, and project management software
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar construction leadership role
  • Strong understanding of residential construction phases, materials, and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and jobsite progress
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and follow-through
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technical problems on job sites
  • Proficiency with project management software used in the remodeling or construction industry
  • Strong technology skills, including MS Office, email, project documentation tools, and mobile devices
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-Time, W-2 Employment
  • Pay: $85,000 - $105,000 annually, based on experience, with the possibility of higher compensation for a highly experienced residential remodeling Project Manager.
  • Career development
  • Hands-on project exposure
  • Mentorship from experienced remodeling professionals
  • Opportunity to grow into greater responsibility within the production team.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
Why Rust Construction

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-quality remodels, improve systems, and contribute to a growing company culture. The right person will have the chance to manage complex projects, build strong client relationships, and grow with a respected design-build remodeling company.
