Job description

The R&D Chemist II will work extensively in the Heavy Equipment and Transportation market segments, supporting Powder coating technologies —in Sherwin-Williams’s North America General Industrial Business. This role requires close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and end customers to advance technologies and meet product performance and warranty expectations. This position is part of the Global Accounts group within R&D, and the chemist will work closely with the North America and global project teams throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.
