"looking for 4 developers with strong development hands-on experience in Java (Core Java, Java spring) and/or Python. It is all remote, we can look for at all across North America (US, Canada, Mexico) to fill these positions.
Exp level : 4 - 8 years
As a product security software engineer, you will:
• Develop and deploy scalable applications and services enabling SDL processes for all product teams at VMware in an Agile environment.
• Develop critical features for SRE support of deployed applications and services.
• Produce well-documented solutions using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and code comments.
• Write clear, modular, secure, and well-tested code using TDD.
• Maintain and support existing applications, services, and platforms.
Basic qualifications:
• Full stack application development (front end, microservices, REST APIs, DB)
• Programming language expertise: Java, python
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Preferred qualifications:
• Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Docker
• CI (Jenkins, Gitlab)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to uncover business challenges and develop solutions to solve those challenges.
