Job Schedule: 9/80. Work 9 out of 14 days with every other Friday off

Job Description:

The Advanced Operation Technologies team is seeking a Project Manager to support automation and digital factory, focusing on meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance goals to improve manufacturing processes and facilities. This individual will work within a matrix organization, aligning high level objectives with detailed plans.

Essential Functions:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineers, procurement, scheduling and finance to achieve key performance metrics.

Support proposal activities, including estimating and writing basis of estimates.

Review status of engineering projects and budgets, manage schedules, drive execution, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver results.

Present project status information to internal and external leadership teams.

Provide input to the Integrated Master Schedule 

Proficiency with MS Office suite of tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of prior project mgmt related experience; or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior project mgmt related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior project mgmt related experience.

Active Secret clearance required on day 1.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

 Earned Value Management Experience including baseline activities, estimates at complete and variance analysis

Proficient in Microsoft Project.

Experience or knowledge of purchase order process and NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements)

Previous experience in aerospace or defense industry

Experience with Automation or Digital Factory projects
