Job description

Reports to: Principal DevSecOps Engineer

About Entegrata

Entegrata helps law firms turn data into decision-grade insights. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Indianapolis, we are a venture-backed SaaS company delivering a turnkey, Azure-based data lakehouse platform purpose-built for law firms. Our platform consolidates siloed legal, operational, and financial data into a single governed source of truth, with AI-powered analytics on top. Our mission is to become the data platform of choice for the top law firms in the world.

The Role

As an SRE / DevOps Engineer, you own the reliability, scalability, and automation of our Azure-based platform. You will build and operate the infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability that let us ship quickly and run dependably. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who treats infrastructure as code and reliability as a product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code for the Azure platform using primarily Pulumi.
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, reliable deployments.
  • Design and operate observability: metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Define and track SLIs and SLOs; drive reliability and performance improvements.
  • Help drive incident response and blameless postmortems; build runbooks and automation.
  • Optimize cloud cost, scalability, and capacity.
  • Partner with security to embed secure practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
What Success Looks Like: 30-60-90 Days First 30 Days
  • Ramp on the Azure environment, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment pipelines.
  • Take ownership of an area such as CI/CD, observability, or a set of services.
By 60 Days
  • Ship improvements to pipelines or observability that increase reliability or speed.
  • Define initial SLOs for a key service and participate in on-call.
By 90 Days
  • Own core reliability operations with measurable improvement in deployment or uptime metrics.
  • Drive at least one significant automation, cost, or reliability initiative.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering.
  • Strong Cloud operations experience (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered).
  • Infrastructure-as-code proficiency with Pulumi, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions preferred) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Observability tooling and incident response experience.
  • Scripting in Go, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating data platforms or data-intensive systems.
  • Security-minded infrastructure practices and compliance exposure (SOC 2).
  • Cost optimization and capacity planning experience.
  • Legal technology or enterprise SaaS background.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, unlimited PTO and company holidays, professional development support, and flexible hybrid work.

Entegrata is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.

If you're energized by fast-moving companies, love being the technical face of a growing platform, and want to build a function rather than join an existing one, we'd love to talk.
