Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Manager with reviewing, revising, and improving machine Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs across the facility. This role will assist with organizing maintenance documentation, updating PM procedures, collecting equipment data, and supporting maintenance KPI reporting.
This position provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, maintenance systems, asset management, and continuous improvement practices within a fast-paced production environment.
This is an entry-level internship intended for students or individuals interested in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, operations, or industrial technology careers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with reviewing and updating machine Preventive Maintenance procedures
  • Organize and standardize PM documentation and maintenance records
  • Support data entry and maintenance system updates
  • Assist with asset verification and smart numbering initiatives
  • Gather machine information, maintenance history, and parts data
  • Research OEM manuals, parts information, and recommended maintenance practices
  • Work with maintenance and operations teams to improve PM effectiveness
  • Perform other related tasks and administrative support as assigned

Machinery Knowledge
  • Equipment degradation and wear processes
  • Relationship between parts usage and equipment service life
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed coursework in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk manufacturing floor for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Compensation
This is an entry-level summer internship position with hourly pay based on experience and qualifications. Limited benefits may apply.
