Job description

Job Description Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Web Hosting Infrastructure Engineer to support the migration and lifecycle management of enterprise websites and applications hosted on Microsoft web platform for a contract position. This role is focused on executing website migrations, supporting IIS-hosted applications, coordinating DNS cutovers, and maintaining web infrastructure in a controlled enterprise environment. Responsibilities Execute website and application migrations from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2022.

Configure, support, and troubleshoot IIS-hosted websites and applications. Run and support PowerShell scripts and Ansible workflows. Coordinate DNS updates and application cutovers.

Support load-balancing configurations and traffic migrations. Validate application functionality before and after migrations. Work with Active Directory, service accounts, and authentication requirements.

Document migration activities, issues, and outcomes. Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application owners, and testing teams. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft IIS-hosted websites and applications.

Experience with server, website, or application migrations. Strong PowerShell experience. Knowledge of DNS, web hosting, and load-balancing concepts.

Experience with Active Directory, service accounts, and Windows authentication. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow established procedures with attention to detail.

The base range for this contract position is $65.00 - $95.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations
