Job description

Title:

Civil & Infrastructure Engineer – HQ STARCOM

KBR is seeking a Civil & Infrastructure Engineer to support Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting facilities planning, infrastructure programs, strategic basing initiatives, and military construction efforts within the Department of War. This position supports HQ STARCOM and associated Deltas by providing civil engineering program management, analysis, and coordination across a variety of infrastructure and facility-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support facility planning, lease actions, and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with Military Construction (MILCON) and Facility Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) programs.
  • Support strategic basing and unit beddown activities.
  • Develop project documentation, schedules, briefings, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders, installation partners, and mission organizations.
  • Assist with meetings, working groups, action item tracking, and executive-level communications.
Qualifications: Required:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience supporting civil engineering, facilities, infrastructure, construction, or installation planning activities.
  • Experience providing analysis, technical recommendations, and program management support.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
Desired:
  • Experience supporting the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or other DoD organizations.
  • Experience at USAF MAJCOM/USSF FLDCOM or similar
  • Familiarity with facilities planning, MILCON, strategic basing, or infrastructure resilience efforts.
  • Experience working with headquarters staffs, installations, or Civil Engineer organizations.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Space Force missions and operations.
  • Experience with task management and workflow tracking tools.
Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site at Patrick Space Force Base, FL
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal (<20%)
  • Working Hours: Standard
