Responsibilities
  • Project planning, design and construction for the infrastructure market in San Diego and Southern California
  • Conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing field work, alternatives analysis, and report preparation
  • Design of water and wastewater infrastructure pipeline projects
  • Perform hydraulic calculations needed to size and select project facilities
  • Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various infrastructure projects
  • Assist with coordinating work of other discipline engineers, designers, modelers, technicians, and others assisting with project work
  • Review contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction

Qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations for pipeline projects
  • Ability to provide constructability review for pipeline design projects
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • 10-15 years of pipeline experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in California

Preferred Qualifications
  • 20+ years of experience in pipeline design and construction
  • Proficiency in Microstation
  • Proficiency in ArcMap
  • Proficiency in InfoWater

Compensation Range
$150,000 to 200,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
