Job description
Our team is looking for a DevOps engineer with at least 6 years cloud and Kubernetes experience including specialization in ArgoCD. Â Â Our project involves building automations for a greenfield managed service product in AWS and we are looking for candidates who are interested in building GitOps solutions.
Core Technical Skills:
DevOps Engineer with ArgoCD and GitOps Focus
Required:
- Understanding of GitOps principles
- Strong familiarity with AWS. Â
- Automation of application deployment by integrating ArgoCD with Git.Â
- Creating and managing ArgoCD applications including synchronization strategies, and resource hooks
- Optimizing ArgoCD for performance and scalability
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure alignment with application requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot synchronization issues, network connectivity, Kubernetes resource configurations in context of ArgoCDÂ
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure. Â
- Experience with languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automating tasks and extending Argo CD functionalities.
- Monitoring and logging tooling for observing ArgoCD and deployed applications. Â
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience building SaaS solutions and automation solutions.Â
- Deploying/managing ArgoCD in support of production systems including HA/DR approaches.Â
- Experience/exposure with Akuity.
- Terraform for managing underlying infrastructure. Â
