Working alongside experienced developers and architects, this position provides hands-on exposure to integration technologies, application development, and enterprise systems. The Associate Integration Developer will assist with production support, development tasks, and system enhancements while building the technical foundation needed to grow within our development team.
Location & Schedule:

  • The role may be performed onsite at our Hastings, Michigan headquarters or in a hybrid arrangement. We will also consider remote candidates who reside in one of our operating states: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, or Wisconsin.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the development and maintenance of microservices and APIs used for application and system integrations.
  • Assist in implementing integrations between internal and external platforms, applications, and services.
  • Review integration design documentation to understand system architecture and business processes.
  • Provide support for deployed integration solutions and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Follow established SDLC practices including coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continue building technical skills.
  • Contribute to development standards and team best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of software development concepts and system integration principles.
  • Familiarity with .NET development, API development, or microservice architecture concepts.
  • Understanding of database fundamentals and client/server application concepts.
  • Experience with Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools and development utilities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
