Job Title: .NET Developer

Location (city, state): Tulsa or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 / hour depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-5pm

About The Company:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Developer to join a collaborative technology team focused on building modern, scalable applications and enterprise software solutions.

Job Description:

The IT Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy applications using C# and modern .NET technologies. This role will work across application development, API development, integrations, databases, and distributed systems while partnering with technical and business teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development projects from initial requirements through deployment.
  • Provide technical direction and support to other developers.
  • Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
  • Build REST APIs and application integrations using OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • Develop microservices and event-driven applications.
  • Create user interfaces using Blazor Server.
  • Work with SQL Server, Oracle, and relational database technologies.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration testing.
  • Partner with QA teams to identify and resolve application issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and determine root causes.
  • Monitor application performance and identify potential production risks.
  • Follow coding standards and development best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, architects, QA teams, and developers.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience required; 5–7 years preferred.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, or comparable development frameworks.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
  • Experience developing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of application performance, scalability, security, logging, debugging, and error handling.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with messaging, middleware, enterprise integrations, and service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Experience with source control, CI/CD, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Details:

  • Experience with RabbitMQ, cloud platforms, containers, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture is a plus.
  • Utility or energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • This role involves working with complex enterprise applications and integrations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require.
