Overview
Deutsche Bank's Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) business provides clients with access to the Bank's liquidity and product expertise through our global sales, trading and structuring teams, as well as our electronic trading channels.
The counterparty credit risk trading teams in Europe, US and Asia operate across the FIC markets and serve as a conduit of information, knowledge, and expertise across these markets. This role will enable Energy Trading to support their client needs while pricing, managing and monitoring of the resulting credit exposure to Deutsche Bank.

What You'll Do
  • Analysis on existing/new risk exposure and helping with day-to-day risk management
  • In-depth analysis of business model, industry, financial performance to take a comprehensive view on credit risk being underwritten
  • Engage in negotiation with clients and internal stakeholders over pricing and credit risk terms
  • Review and prepare credit memos to support client business
  • Partner with key stakeholders within the Business (sales, structuring) as well as 2nd Line of Defense functions

Skills You'll Need
  • A deep understanding of commodities products
  • A thorough understanding of International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. terms and credit concepts

Skills That'll Help You Excel
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • High attention to detail and solid organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizing multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190,000 to $300,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
