Job Title: US RMS Rates GCT & Sponsors Coverage
Corporate Title: Associate
Location: New York, NY
Overview
This role is focused on originating, structuring and executing interest rate hedging solutions for Financial Sponsors / Portfolio companies and our Global Credit Trading business. The sector focus of the role is Infrastructure & Energy, specifically. In this role, you will help the team develop and grow hedging relationships and deliver the breadth of Deutsche Bank solutions to this client segment. Additionally, there will be a number of touchpoints with internal partners in the banking and capital markets divisions, making interpersonal skills and understanding of a financial institution critical. A technical background is strongly suggested given the responsibility of structuring and executing financial derivatives, which can vary in complexity.

What You'll Do
  • Help the team build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and providing bespoke hedging solutions based on their objectives
  • Partner with internal partners across the Corporate Bank, Investment Bank, Rates Trading and Global Credit Trading
  • Learn how to assess the credit worthiness of clients to seek out opportunities, work with XVA desks to price derivatives competitively and learn to resolve internal conflicts across Credit Approval, Onboarding, and pricing / execution

Skills You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Some relevant experience in fixed income trading and sales, or a related field
  • Familiarity with global financial markets and derivatives
  • Strong quantitative and technical ability
  • Excellent communication skills

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York is $75,000 -$119,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
