POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Title: Associate
Location: New York, NY
Overview
DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Associate in New York, NY to participate in the planning and execution of the migration of data infrastructure from on-premises Hadoop/Cloudera to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience using Jira for task management, Confluence for documentation, and Git for version control; conducting data transformation using Hive and Impala and leveraging Python for data analytics, including data science libraries, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn; producing visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau, Python, Matplotlib, and Seaborn; utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub to facilitate cloud migration and data processing; migrating on-premises big data solutions to GCP and architecting scalable and secure cloud-native data infrastructure; implementing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using JIRA, Git, BitBucket, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Jenkins; writing BDD test cases using Cucumber and Gherkin language for automated testing; analyzing KYC review (EDR, PR) processes, utilizing SQL, Python (pandas, NumPy), and Apache Spark; analyzing data processing workflows, data warehousing, and data lakes to interpret data and drive insights; and in executing duties, utilizing big data tools, including Hadoop (Cloudera), Spark, Kafka, Sqoop, Scala, and Dataproc.
