Shift is Mon-Fri 6am-2:30am
We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Diesel Technician to support our maintenance operations through advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of diesel-powered trucks and equipment. This position requires a technician with strong electrical and emissions systems knowledge who can accurately diagnose complex mechanical failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and technical resources to identify root cause failures and complete accurate repairs
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment concerns before failure occurs
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain issues
  • Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maintenance standards
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines, electronic controls, and emissions systems
  • Accurately document diagnostics, completed repairs, labor, and parts usage
  • Support shop operations by assisting and mentoring junior technicians as needed
  • Service and repair aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, and SCR components

Requirements
  • Abilityto read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technicaldocumentation
  • Minimum5 years of hands-on experience as a diesel technician
  • Familiaritywith OEM diagnostic software, electronic troubleshooting systems, and scantools
  • Mustprovide own basic hand tools
  • Experiencediagnosing and repairing aftertreatment systems including DPF, DEF, andSCR
  • Strongdiagnostic and electrical troubleshooting background
  • Validdriver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Experienceworking with diesel engine platforms such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT,PACCAR, or equivalent
  • Experienceperforming repairs on engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension,and related heavy-duty systems
