Job description

Job Title: Site IT Support Technician (End-User Services)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Site IT Support Technician to be the primary point of technical contact for our local and remote user base. You will manage the full lifecycle of our end-user technology-from imaging and deploying new hardware to managing mobility and resolving daily technical issues.
This is a physical, "boots-on-the-ground" role for an IT professional who enjoys both the technical challenge of resolving complex support tickets and the hands-on nature of setting up, maintaining, and upgrading office infrastructure. If you are a proactive troubleshooter who thrives in an in-office environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality IT service to your peers, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint & Site Support
Technical Resolution: Monitor and manage the internal ticketing system, ensuring all support requests (PC builds, software issues, connectivity) are resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Hardware Lifecycle: Execute the full "IMAC" lifecycle-Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes. Handle the physical deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices to ensure users have the tools they need to be productive.
Site Infrastructure: Support physical office technology needs, including maintaining cabling, setting up audiovisual equipment (projectors/video conferencing), and performing desk-side hardware troubleshooting.
Systems Administration
MDM Management: Leverage Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms to provision, secure, and update our fleet of mobile and desktop assets.
Security & Process: Adhere to ITIL/ITSM best practices and fundamental information security principles in every repair and deployment.
Team Collaboration: Assist senior staff with IT projects and infrastructure upgrades, acting as a reliable technical resource for the broader Desktop Services team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
Experience Baseline: 2+ years of professional experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment.
Technical Mastery: Deep technical acumen with PC/Laptop hardware, mobile devices, and core productivity applications.
Physical Capability: Must be able to physically handle, lift, and maneuver IT equipment (approx. 50 lbs), including bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders for cable management and hardware installation.
Preferred Attributes
Industry-standard certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP).
Working knowledge of ITIL Foundations and ITSM ticketing workflows.
Strong "Service-Oriented" mindset-you don't just fix the machine; you provide a great experience to the user.
