Job Description:

Participate in CBTC system integration, testing & commissioning for a given project site.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identifies and verifies the means required for testing are present. When required, ensures the specification complements of test means

  • Ensures tests are properly executed and managed

  • Performs some PICO testing and assists in Testing and Commissioning activities as required

  • Ensures completeness of tests as well as compilations of evidence against requirements, and ensures traceability of evidences

  • Supports site testing during the integration and commissioning periods

  • Analyses the technical facts, monitors the technical facts lifecycle within the appropriate commissions

  • Undertakes problem solving and troubleshooting as required by commissioning activities

  • Produces validated acceptance records (ie. test certificates)

  • Ensures all the right considerations for field work with respect to work authorizations are in place

  • Ensures the correct health and safety matters for those environments are complied with

  • Reports progress and current status to internal stakeholders

  • Completes progress reports related to Test & Commissioning

Key Requirements:

  • 0-3 years working experience in Test & Commissioning phase of a project

  • University graduate (Bachelors degree is minimum) with an engineering background

  • Working knowledge of railway signaling principles

  • Knowledge of ITV/IVVQ practices and processes pertaining to site Testing & Commissioning

  • Logical approach to problem solving.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of current and legacy desktop publishing software (e.g. MS Suite, Visio, DOORS, Adobe Acrobat, Requirement Management tools such as DOORS or equivalent, JIRA)

  • Excellent Language and Communication skills

  • Technical knowledge and skills required, e.g. ITV/IVVQ, System Engineering, Safety, etc.
