About the role

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing new and enhanced features for ServeManager. You will use your expertise to expand, adapt, and integrate our service of process fulfillment platform to support continued growth and scalability. Your work will enhance our desktop and mobile platforms, APIs, and partner integrations.
This is a hybrid role, with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our Denver office.

Compensation
This role offers a competitive compensation range of $75,000 to $135,000, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new products and features for existing applications.
  • Work closely with the management team to improve products and meet product roadmap deadlines.
  • Analyze user needs and workflows to create easy-to-use interfaces.
  • Test code before deployment.
  • Update and maintain RESTful API endpoints.
  • Create back-end code and integrate with third-party APIs, including Stripe, Maxio, and industry APIs.
  • Maintain existing code and resolve bugs.
  • Review code developed by other team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Ruby on Rails experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in full stack web application development 
  • 5+ years' experience with JavaScript - Stimulus and Turbo Experience is a plus 
  • 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL - writing efficient queries, understanding schema design and performance basics 
  • 5+ years' experience in information architecture and UI management 
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) 
  • Demonstrated ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated code to production quality 
  • Experience with agentic workflows - delegating multi-step features to tools like Claude Code
  • Knowledge of open-source projects and frameworks 
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with a team 
  • Meticulous QA and testing
