We're looking for a designer who builds.
What this is
This isn't a "design role" where you sit in Figma waiting for a PRD. This is a building role. You understand the user's problem, you prototype fast, you ship - sometimes the same day. Your work doesn't live in a deck. It lives in production.
At this stage, every IC designer at Range can operate as a 10x IC. There is very little stopping you from building.
It's about doing what's right for the customer and iterating quickly. You'll use AI workflows to iterate faster alongside the team and customers - bringing the best ideas to life. We think really big, but we ship small and incrementally. You'll define how design operates here, not by copying what came before, but by figuring out what's actually possible when a great designer leans all the way into AI.
Your designs and flows will be how this team makes strategic decisions. When you put something visual in front of the team, we move. Designers at Range are catalysts - moving ideas forward and creating momentum. That's how we lead. Ship in 24 hours, learn, iterate.
Who you are
A builder. You go from problem to prototype to shipped product. You don't wait for permission, a sprint planning meeting, or a ticket. You see the gap and you close it.
Taste-obsessed. You've studied the best - Ramp, Airbnb, the fastest-scaling companies - and you have real opinions about what makes them great. Your eye is trained. What you ship is beautiful and considered, even when you ship it fast.
Intuition-driven. You don't hide behind process. You've done enough reps to trust your gut, move quickly, and be right far more often than you're wrong. When the data isn't there, you still move.
AI-native. You're already using AI every day - not as a toy, but as core infrastructure. You see it as the thing that turns one designer into ten.
