Job description

We are hiring a Production Shop Worker to join our team! Our company is a family owned custom cabinet shop and we value the importance of family for all of our workers. We strive to maintain an environment that rewards individuals who motivate themselves to achieve personal improvement and who strive to exceed expectations.

In our company a professional attitude and strong work ethic provides an individual the opportunity for internal advancement. Our production workers perform tasks to build components, cabinets, and furniture items as well as finishing--staining and painting. Operation of various types of woodworking equipment and hand tools is expected. The proper use of a tape measure and the ability to read and comprehend prints is a common need in most operations.

Job expectations include, but are not limited to:

  • Precise equipment set-up and safe operation using a tape measure and simple math
  • Attention to detail to conform to product quality requirements
  • Production of subassemblies involving cutting, machining, and sanding
  • Assembly of components, cabinets, and furniture items according to production cut lists and job prints
  • A steady work pace
  • A desire to contribute to team building
  • A desire to expand oneโ€™s skill set through on-the-job training and cross training

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, agriculture, construction or other related fields
  • Ability to handle physical workload
