Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Delegates and monitors the work of licensed occupational therapist assistants, technicians, and other support staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Work Experience

  • 1 Year experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • License to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Texas or eligible for licensure.
  • Current CPR - BCLS certification.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License required only for individuals identified as HMC Designated Drivers per policy. 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Input data into computer programs.
  • Familiar with rehabilitation equipment.
