Job description


Position Title: Reactor Enclosure System (RES) Component Design Engineer
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting REMOTE contract Reactor Enclosure System (RES) Component Design Engineer opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform ASME design specification detailed design requirements and code application basis work, including technical reviews and independent design verification functions
  • Perform critical dimension and functional limit analyses and evaluations
  • Perform subcomponent joint design standards and criteria specification work
  • Perform gaskets and seals selections and specification work
  • Qualification indoctrination to Company quality program to perform preparation or verification activities

Job Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1, particularly in subsections NB, NG, and NF
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant equivalent program from an accredited university
  • Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience. Experience level may be partially substituted for advanced degree depending on position relevance, PE desired.
  • Certifying Engineer, qualified to ASME Sect III, Mandatory Appendix XXIII, for reactor support components (Subsection NF) desired
  • Strong communication skills desired.
  • The service provider will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamwork.
  • Travel Required: 15% for periodic meetings with Company technical staff.

  • Pay Rate Range: $52-$85/hr (*Pay rates are approved based on candidate location, education and experience*)
  • Location: 100% Remote Acceptable
  • Export control regulations require candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Legal Permanent Resident, or of a protected person status
