Job description

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineering Intern will work side by side with the Engineering team to provide support for drawings created and updated using CAD and software for modifications and repairs to aircraft.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists Engineering teams with CAD drawings
  • Gathers information to complete drawings in support of the Avionics, Maintenance, and Interiors departments
  • Updates drawings as per redlines
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications & Job Requirements

Experience and Competencies:

  • Effective problem-solving skills must be demonstrated with strong follow-through required on communication and project completion
  • Ability to manage change and deadlines well
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and understand installation manuals
  • Basic understanding of electrical prints and symbols.

Education & Certifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four-year engineering program
Other Prerequisites
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.  Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day and sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to function in a general office environment.
