Job description

Bauer Entertainment Marketing (www.BauerEM.com), is looking for a dynamic professional to support its graphic design initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in music, sports, entertainment, marketing, or technology.
You will be responsible for assisting with marketing initiatives and client projects. Daily activities include but are not limited to preparing images to coincide with social and blog posts, assisting with website and blog updates, creating various logos, creating and updating various sales collateral, and anything else BEM deems necessary.
This internship requires a minimum commitment of three days per week. Specific days and hours can be coordinated with your supervisor based on business needs and academic schedules.
This position reports to the Sr. Graphic Designer and supports our team of project managers and account coordinators. This internship will correspond with your educational study/school credit requirements. In addition to significant professional development, mentorship, and real-world project experience, participants will be considered for a one-time, performance-based payment at the conclusion of the program. The amount depends on business and individual results.
This internship can be done from our workspace in East Nashville and/or remotely.
The length of the internship has an expected, but flexible, start in January and completion in May.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Current graduate student or undergraduate Junior or Senior
โ€ข Business, music, marketing, design, or psychology-focused degrees preferred
โ€ข Strong interest in entertainment and technology industries
โ€ข Experience in startups, marketing, and the entertainment industry is a bonus, but not required
Hard Skills:
โ€ข Computer knowledge for both Mac and PC
โ€ข Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills
โ€ข Detailed knowledge of and experience with social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
โ€ข Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google products
โ€ข Must be proficient in basic graphic design programs (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
โ€ข Must have basic video editing skills (Canva, app-based editing, etc.)
โ€ข Experience with digital advertising (e.g., Facebook, Google, AdRoll)
โ€ข Basic understanding of text/background animation
